The whole family really liked it - " We liked the style of the house which was built respecting nature as well as ancient Berber techniques. We also liked the flowers and plants in the garden, the size of the swimming pool, the climate of the region and the contact with Jean-Luc, the owner...
This is the second time we have spent our holidays in this house, the first being in 2015. The whole family really enjoyed spending their holidays in this house."
Rachid T. and family, Clermont-Ferrand (France), May 2024
Very helpful advice - "Magnificent Riad, a must see. Very tastefully done. Both the house and the garden and the swimming pool.
Allows you to visit several attractions in the Moroccan Souss. Jean-Luc's advice is very useful and allows you to really discover the Souss and the Amazighs. I highly recommend it.
I also recommend Fatima's cuisine which makes excellent Moroccan dishes (couscous, pastilla, various tagines, etc.)
To do and redo."
Magical and authentic - " Le Jardin aux Etoiles is a magical place, extraordinary and authentic at the same time. You can feel the soul of Moroccan culture there.
Jean-Luc is very attentive and knows this place so well that he guided us perfectly even in his absence.
I highly recommend recharging your body and mind there! ”
Davin Th, his wife and two young children, Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), January 2024
In French and German - My family (2 adults, 2 young children) was delighted with their stay. Warm owner (Jean Luc), like the staff (Ayoub, Fatima) and the animals (dogs, turtles).
The building, grounds and garden are landscaped with great dedication and constitute an oasis away from the hustle and bustle which, 10 minutes away, with the Oulad Teima souk, constitutes a successful diversion. The fruit trees were able to be lightened of their fruit. Enough opportunities to sit in the shade and possibility to cool off in the large (unheated) swimming pool.
Useful recommendations for excursions/curiosities nearby or further afield. Depending on preferences, it is possible to meet together or rest alone. We had a bit too cold in the premises (January), but in the warmer months it's certainly very pleasant and a big plus of the accommodation. Additionally, heaters are available, which allowed us to warm up at least the sleeping area for the chilly nights.
Possibility of booking delicious and hearty meals as an option, which comes at a price.
Thank you very much and goodbye, we hope. A clear recommendation from us, even for more than 4 people.
My Family (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder) war begeistert vom Aufenthalt. Herzlicher Eigentümer (Jean Luc) also includes Personal (Ayoub, Fatima) and Tiere (Hunde, Schildkröten).
Please note that the position of the pool and the absorption of the larger pool are correct.
Hilfreiche Empfehlungen für naheliegende und other entferntere Ausflüge/Sehenswürdigkeiten. I don't know what to do with Miteinander or Ruhe für sich möglich. You will then be able to listen to the music, and then take some of the details out of the bowls that you will hear later.

Each element of the riad has its meaning -"The place is the epitome of tranquility. And designed with such passion, literally every element has meaning. It is wonderful. And we could not have been any better cared for.
From meeting Jean Luc on arrival to being cooked for by the expert Fatima, a beautiful soul. And then of course Ayoub, who went above and beyond in every thinkable way to ensure our holiday was bliss. Stay here!"
Splendid- "The Riad and its splendid vegetation!
This Riad offers you everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Calm - beauty of the garden - friendliness of the owners - the kindness and helpfulness of Ayoub and Fatima...! A success."
Cendrine M. and her two friends, Morges (Switzerland), May 2023
Wonderful-"Me, my wife and our two children have just spent a wonderful Easter holiday at Le Jardin Aux Etoiles.
This large cozy riad is very well located (we visited Agadir and Taroudant). We had good contact with the owner and the staff was very friendly. Ayoub was always available in case we had any questions and Fatima prepared delicious Moroccan dishes for us every day (for a very good price).
Our children immediately became best friends with Sasha and Saga (two adorable little dogs living in the garden) and we all had a great time discovering the neighborhood (Ayoub showed us around Agadir and Fatima in Taroudant) and enjoying the riad, its very lush and colorful swimming pool and garden, the stars at night, Fatima's food, the good weather and the kindness of the Moroccan people.
Thank you for the wonderful stay!"
Willem v. B., Ghent (Belgium), April 2023
Listening - "The riad, very well designed and super comfortable, is surrounded by an exceptional garden. The latter offers a great diversity of plants and colors and also benefits from a large swimming pool. The happiness of being woken up every morning by the song of birds and the scent of flowers."

Really quiet -"This villa is magnificent for spending a pleasant stay in the calm of the countryside. I found the house very clean, as well as the swimming pool, which is super large. You can really swim comfortably.
The staff and the owner are really available to give all kinds of information. Congratulations to them for the investments made not long ago in the garden, which is really great, and in the swimming pool. Go ahead, it's great! Your stay will be wonderful and you will come back because the place is super beautiful and really quiet."
Christiane Sch., Delémont (Switzerland), October 2021
Idyllic -"From October 2 to 16, 2021, I spent an idyllic vacation in this heavenly place surrounded by lemon trees, orange trees, olive trees and even some small wild animals, not to mention the rose bushes lovingly cared for by the owner.
I do not understand people who complain and often leave the place in a deplorable state when they leave it. Many thanks to Ayoub".
Group of Maxence P. (eight people), Joigny-sur-Meuse (France), September 2021
Listening -"Jean Luc is a straight, simple person, and very accessible and attentive. He will not hesitate to give you several good addresses and to accompany you remotely throughout your trip.
Regarding his team, Ayoub is a very friendly and attentive person, he contacted us a lot of times, to find out if everything was going well, if we needed him. He maintains the villa masterfully, and his kindness will be the first factor in making you feel at ease in this little corner of paradise."
Michel B. and family, Lausanne (Switzerland), July 2021
Well placed to explore southern Morocco -"Very beautiful spacious Riad, authentic, and well placed to explore the south of Morocco.
Beautiful swimming pool very pleasant to swim and relax.
Jean Luc is an excellent connoisseur of Morocco. He gladly gives many tips which were very useful for us to explore this magnificent region and beyond. ”

Hosted by Jean-Luc Vautravers - "Very beautiful riad with swimming pool, located 15 km from Al Massira Agadir airport. With its garden, a real haven of peace in the middle of orange trees, lemon trees, grapefruit trees.
The rooms are pretty with beautiful private bathrooms.
The plus: have breakfast by the pool with organic orange juice from the Jardin aux Etoiles, then share a meal with friends and taste a delicious fish with cream, prepared by Fatima.
Thank you Jean-Luc for your welcome. I had a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Le Jardin aux Etoiles."
Re-opening of the riad after the COVID pandemic: March 1, 2021
An oasis -"We stayed here with 8 people. We loved to be outside the tourist area and in between the locals. The house is an oasis! The kids loved the pool and garden and made many friends in the neighbourhood. Perfect host at the location, as well as the cook! You need a car to stay here.
We hope to come back! Thanks!"

Amazing cooker-"The riad is spacious and well equipped. We did not enjoy the swimming pool (too cool in December) but its presence brings a plus to the outdoor space.
Fatima the cook is amazing. She prepared delicious and varied meals for us and her good humor is an added value to your residence".

In the footsteps of the Little Prince - "As a teenager, I had discovered The Little Prince at the same time as, on the map of Africa, St.Exupéry's Night Flight, its stopover in Cap Juby, Morocco, and the stars of the immense Moroccan sky. with great comfort, equipped with respect for Moroccan genius, and opening onto a large swimming pool and a neat estate. The star of Saint-Exupéry, I found it at the Jardin aux Etoiles, at Jean-Luc's, in Agadir.
Due to lack of time, we did not visit Morocco, nor southern Morocco in their entirety, but we collected various experiences of Moroccan lives.
First in Agadir, the city of the 1960 earthquake, which I remembered well. The visit to its kasbah, on the damaged hill, allowed me to measure the caution of the Moroccan authorities, who prohibit any construction in the threatened area. We live with risk in Agadir. If there is a strong memory in Agadir, it was, a few hundred meters from the riad, the artisanal bakery, managed from generation to generation since the dawn of time, with its instruments carried out with sure gestures transmitted from time immemorial. Time seemed to have stood still in this very old artisan bakery, bathed in the blond flour and hubbub of the workshop.
The seven-kilometre horse-drawn carriage tour around the city of Taroudant was a strong Berber breath, as was the visit to the open-air tannery, with its violent smells of dried skins from dozens of animals, and astonishing the visit to a perfume company with global reach.
At Salam Palace, I rediscovered the charm of films from the colonial era. A lost era for hundreds of French people who had to leave the Protectorate that they had nevertheless helped to build. And Dar Zitoune, with Mr. Marc and Mrs. Zézette, where time passes quietly and pleasantly, African style. Do you know that I met a former employee there? of the Swiss National Circus Knie ? It is from Taroudant that dozens of Moroccan laborers set off each spring, knowing how to set up each night, in a fascinating way, in a few hours, the big circus tent. Mr. Boujema told me about Switzerland as a connoisseur that he was, having set up his circus there several times. Totally surprising encounter.
A three-hour crossing of the spectacular foothills of the Atlas, Marrakech is one of Morocco's flagship cities. Sumptuous imperial city, today the world capital of the planet's efforts for its environment. Enter the superb Majorelle Garden under the arch of its bamboo alley is pure happiness. Nearby, the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum has just opened, with very modern writing, dedicated to the art of the couturier. French public almost totally, but living exhibition of the art of fashion on Moroccan soil. Still nearby, the Museum of Weaving and Carpets, also of high quality.
How pleasant the weather must have been on the terraces of the great Jama-el-Fna square, before the attack that we remember, in its luxurious hotels, also in the riad where we were staying, a surprising space of modernity in the heart of the medina, or in its restaurants with oriental charm such as the Dar-Zellij, with the bewitching welcome of the Thousand and One Nights and the quality cuisine.
You can only see well with the heart, said the Little Prince. Le Jardin aux Etoiles is the favorite of Jean-Luc Vautravers, architect in love and proud of his riad, talkative guide and connoisseur of Morocco, charming host of his Tschoumy friends. Memorable Moroccan stay. Thank you, Jean-Luc !"
Soufiane B. and her family, Agadir (Morocco), July 2018
Modernity and tradition -"Great stay in this very beautiful villa which combines both modernity and tradition. The rooms are very warm.
We took advantage of a swimming pool large enough for everyone to enjoy and discovered a beautiful garden with beautiful encounters such as the two small dogs and turtles and magnificent kittens.
I won't hesitate to come back, especially since it's not far from the airport."
Sabri M. and his wife, Villejuif (France), May 2018
A real change of scenery - "I wanted to thank you for the welcome in the villa and for the advice and help provided during our stay. You have done an exceptional job to build this villa to your taste while respecting the local culture. The villa is ideally located, a real change of scenery, a real break with the city and a soothing calm. The vegetation around the pool is really pleasant, the pool really allows you to swim and that's a real plus. I have nothing to say about this place, one of the best I've visited".
Family of Siham S., Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (Belgium), April 2018
Like at home - "Unforgettable holidays in the heart of the Souss region.
We stayed in the riad with our two daughters aged 6 and 2 and they felt right at home.
We particularly address our thanks to Moulay Hafid and Fatima, without whom our stay would not have had the same flavor.
We will definitely go back!”
Family of Michael and Pia Claudine S., Copenhagen (Denmark), March-April 2018
Every minute appreciated -"We are enjoying every minute here in your wonderful house and the sorroundings.
The boys have become very good friends with Sacha and Saga, so we let them out when we are in the Jardin aux Etoiles.
We are just now on our way back from a visit in the cooperative argan at Hafid sister who welcomed us and showed us and told us about the production. We also bought some of her wonderful products.
The Crocodile Park is really beautiful and interesting.
We all loved very much the pool Win-Timdouine and the underground lake. The door was open. We met so many people there and were invited to eat together with a moroccan family. Definitely a good suggestion!".
Céline and Rolf Sch., Lucerne (Switzerland), December 2017-January 2018
Clio S. and Jonas V., Neuchâtel (Switzerland), October 2017
Great week - "We spent a very active week both in the Jardin aux Etoiles, which we found really magnificent, and in the surroundings, which surprised us with their interest and diversity.
At the riad, we played memorable games of petanque in the new white sand surface devoted to games. The pool was really nice! We also really enjoyed Fatima's Moroccan cuisine.
We spent a whole day in the craftsmen's village of Kasbat Souss, which we literally robbed, taking many authentic gifts and souvenirs. We felt an immense pleasure in discussing with the craftsmen, without ever being harpooned in an insistent way, as is too often the case in Marrakech".
Laurent and Valérie C., Le Landeron (Switzerland), and Yann S. and his partner Marlène, Auvernier (Switzerland), September 2017
Quantity of typical and attractive places - "We loved the tranquility of this magnificent riad surrounded by a tastefully wooded garden. An ideal place to relax by the large swimming pool and enjoy an excellent tajine simmered by the Berber cook.
Despite a short stay, we were able to discover, nearby, a number of typical and attractive places, in particular a counter with craftsmen who produce authentic high-quality items (Kasbat Souss) and the sumptuous palace of the late painter Claudio Bravo (near Taroudant).
The city of Taroudant, surrounded by its magnificent ramparts, is rightly called "little Marrakech". Not to be missed at the gates of the city, the superb riad of Dar Zitoune which houses a well-kept restaurant".

Wonderful week -"We have spent a wonderful week in this very spacious and beautiful riad with a lot of Marrocan details. Our daughter and her friend were very pleased with the swimming pool :-).
The beds slept well and there were enough bedsheet and towels. The toilets and bathrooms were clean and in Moroccan style too. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. The garden was very big and we put a turtle over there. Three friendly little dogs watched over the place and they were Always very enthusiastic upon our return.
Renting a car is a necessity. We could rent it through a contact of Jean-Luc, the owner. The nearest big supermarket is in Agadir and over half an hour drive away. Within a kilometer of the house is a little local shop were you can buy bread and other first necessities.
The sights were in our view a bit far away (almost an hour or more). We spent a day in Taroudant, Paradise Valley (really a must-do!) and a nightover in Marrakech (= a three hours drive away) and saw the waterfalls of Immouzer. We could not find the caves and basin of Win-Timdouine. Agadir was not 'our cup of tea', but if you like beaches and a more mondain city, we think you will like it.."

In and around the pool -"We had a wonderful stay at the Jardin Aux Etoiles and left delighted!
The whole family enjoyed it: the children had fun in and around the magnificent swimming pool and looked forward to picking oranges each morning, while the adults could enjoy having an aperitif in the sun by the pool and relaxing under the expert hands of the Berber masseuse. Everyone appreciated the convenience of the delicious dishes prepared by Roukaia.
In one week, we loved spending whole days there, as well as discovering the places suggested by the owner, who advised us wonderfully. A big thank you to him, we will come back with pleasure!”

Beautiful, private property - "We have had the most amazing time on our holiday.
Such a beautiful, private property to spend time in. It is fairly remote but, with the owners dogs guarding the
property you feel completely safe and at ease.
It's very spacious but warm and welcoming at the same time, with an open fire to use on a chilly evening. A generous amount of towels and bedding to use and a well equipped kitchen, complete with washing machine and dishwasher made our lives so much easier, especially with small children in tow.
The pool isn't heated so is fairly cold in the milder season but our children braved it a few times. The outside area (pool and garden) is outstanding. We found tortoises and lizards amongst other things and the oranges you can pick fresh from the trees are not to be missed.
It is appropriately named the 'garden of stars'. We have never witnessed a more spectacular night sky, cuddled up, with blankets on loungers was just wonder under the Brightest stars we had ever seen.
Its in an area that isn't full of sun worshiping tourists. You actually get to see a genuine part of Morocco which we have loved and has been an amazing experience for us and our children too. So many places close by to visit for adults and children.
We are already planning our next trip to do the things we didnt have time for.
Jean-Luc (the owner) couldn't have been anymore helpful with suggestions on places to visit, we would have missed out on some experiences if it wasn't for his help, letting us know the temperatures so we knew what to pack was so helpful too.
I can't see anyone being disappointed, we certainly weren't."
Susanne and Jean-Martin D., Boudry, Switzerland, October 2016
Precious memory -"What a pleasure to discover in this autumn of 2016 this southern Moroccan which has become for us in a few hours a magical enchantment.
From the “Garden to the Stars” comfortable, vast, flowered to perfection, decorated with dozens of birds around the magnificent swimming pool, we criss-crossed this land of a thousand facets together.
Many thanks to you, Jean-Luc, for your dedication. By your knowledge of the Berber country and your generosity, you were a perfect guide.
From craft markets to souks, from the nature of animal parks to the Garden of Eden, everything lends itself to astonishment.
We keep a precious memory of this stay which made us want to know more about Morocco."

Highly recommended - "Just like the pictures! Stunning Villa in VERY rural but beautiful location. Exactly what we wanted.
The owner was extremely helpful, organizing everything for us including car hire and a meal on arrival. The caretaker was also lovely, as was the wonderful cook who we highly recommend you book! She came back and cooked for our last night.
40 minute drive to Agadir - which is well worth the trip. Some lovely restaurants etc, and the harbor is definitely worth a visit.
Highly recommended and should we come back to the area, would definitely book again".

Great week -"A big thank you for this fantastic week of discovering a small but so beautiful part of Morocco and its striking contrasts! The tajines were excellent and the landscapes magnificent! A big lick to Saga, Pacha and Sasha!!
Thanks also to our driver. Our greetings to Madam the cook for her delicious rabbit tasted with pleasure ".
Ffamily of Evanna B., Montpellier (France), September 2015
Dream week - "We spent a dream week in the riad le jardin aux étoiles. The garden is very well maintained (it doesn't feel like being in the tropics) with banana trees and palm trees and lots of other trees. The roses are magnificent, a clean swimming pool ideal for children and adults.
As for the cook Lala Arkia, charming and smiling with a rare kindness, she concocted delicious dishes for us, a real pleasure at each meal from breakfast to aperitif to lunch and dinner.
The house is even better than in the photos the rooms are pleasantly well laid out with two bedrooms on one side and another on the other ideal for the intimacy of couples if you are traveling with several people.
Very well decorated with these paintings, these books, these carpets. Several small terraces for each room I really liked.
As for the village itself, the inhabitants are sociable and very nice. We were able to take advantage of this beautiful house in this beautiful city where we feel very well that life is good.
In the evening a magnificent spectacle awaited us: a sky full of stars illuminated our evenings. I highly recommend everyone to have a time of their life in this house."
Family of Rayna E. (Great Britain), July 2015
Thanks- "We have enjoyed our stay in Morocco and we have been well looked after. Many thanks. Mrs Roukia has been very pleasant and we enjoyed a very nice Tajine this evening.
The dogs are fantastic, proper little thieves just like our dogs at home. They are good fun to have around.
The children are enjoying themselves and are being sensible spending time indoors when they feel hot. Driving here is interesting!"

Magic - "A beautiful place and a warm welcome from the owners and their employees. I can only recommend this place.
The house is superb, its garden and its swimming pool encourage you to dream. Ideally located just a quarter of an hour from the airport. If you need to relax, this place is ideal. It's on, I'll come back to it."

Fabulous-"We have spent fabulous holidays. The architecture of the spacious house is very impressive, the garden with lot's of palms, orange, citrus and banana trees is a real paradise. We enjoyed swimming in the huge pool and relaxing in the peaceful place. Very cute was the young Jack Russel.
Additionally we played a lot of golf and found Agadir a very attractive golf destination. It was also very interesting to visit the historic city Taroudant together with our guide Hafid. Our steward Hafid spoiled us the whole week with healthy mint tea from the garden and fresh bread in the morning. He was very helpful and caring all the time.
Prior to the journey it was a great pleasure to communicate with Jean-Luc, who gave us a lot of helpful advises for great places to visit and restaurants nearby.
Thanks a lot for the wonderful holidays! "

Five stars -"The riad well deserves 5 stars for both the house and the garden. Mr. Mouley Hafid and the charming cook have contributed a lot to our comfort and well-being.
Address to recommend, congratulations for this great success."

Quality of services - "We had a very pleasant stay in your Riad. We would like to thank you for the quality of your services. My whole family very much appreciated this stay in the heart of a haven of peace.
Hafid's great availability and his most sincere kindness contributed to the excellence of our vacation. You knew how to surround yourself with very competent and very kind people, whether it was your cook or the car rental company. We will not fail to recommend your Riad to our friends."

Perfect - "The place is superb, the Kia cook is adorable and caring.
The situation of the place is ideal to discover superb corners without tourists and the site of the owner is very complete. We were two adults and two children, it was very comfortable.
The garden is also superb, highly recommended!"

Just beautiful -"A wonderful rustic retreat for myself and my family in the Moroccan countryside. The house and gardens are beautiful and extremely well kept with tasteful furnishings and decoration. A lot of time and attention has been given to make the Riad authentic and comfortable.
The pool is as good as it looks and is impeccably clean. My favorite bit has to be the night - no light pollution and an amazing view of the stars.
We hired a cook for the week via the owner and the service was brilliant, nothing too much trouble and always a smile. I would recommend this service.
This was truly a relaxing holiday and I hope to return soon.
Its about 45 mins away from Taroudant, an hour from Paradise Valley and 40 mins from Agadir. There is a small town nearby to buy day to day stuff and a few places nearby to eat".

Nothing is left to chance -"It was with great pleasure that I discovered the Jardin aux Etoiles.
Knowing the Berber culture, I fully rediscovered it in this magnificent Riad. In particular the architecture, the decoration and even the delicious dishes prepared by the charming cook! Everything is there, it is well thought out and nothing is left to chance. The garden is also a real marvel, a heavenly vegetation.
For those who love the peace and beauty of nature, this is where you feel perfectly at home.
Jean-Luc, I loved this place, BRAVO. And choukran! - Liliana"

Want to come back- "We had a wonderful stay at the Jardin aux étoiles which bears its name really well, we were amazed! Surrounded by a wonderful staff, always looking after us and with exemplary kindness, we have only one desire... to come back!!! Les Normands".
Very satisfied with their stay at the Jardin aux Etoiles, the members of this group were particularly interested in bird watching. They were able to give free rein to their passion, including on the plaza surrounding the riad's swimming pool.
We see here one of them tracking in his telescope one of our innumerable winged friends attracted by our expanse of water and the fruits of our vast garden.

"We had an unforgettable stay in this richly decorated Riad where every detail has been tastefully thought out to help us discover the many local riches.
Le Jardin aux Etoiles is close to Agadir airport, located in a calm and pleasant environment. Thanks to the information provided by the owner, we discovered countless extraordinary places from the coast to the hills of the Atlas.
Our stay was a real success."

"It was a very pleasant getaway, which allowed us to share good times, especially in this magnificent riad and by the superb swimming pool, in a haven of peace just animated by the singing of incredibly numerous birds!
Thanks to Jean-Luc, who was able to infuse us with some of his enthusiasm for Morocco, which was not won in advance! Thank you for a wonderful tea based on garden herbs and real craftsmanship!
Among the authentic tours offered by this site, we particularly liked:
- The beautiful discovery of the craftsmen's village of Kasbat Souss. We've robbed the spice merchant's display!
- The Madrague restaurant at the Agadir Marina. Excellent meal on a pleasant terrace...
- The dinner show at Temsia in the establishment of Chems Ayour. The youyous resounded for our guide, which did not prevent us from enjoying the mechoui and the seven-vegetable couscous.
- The tour by car from the very well preserved and restored walls of Taroudant. What a contrast between these magnificent buildings and the somewhat... messy interior of the city.
- The magnificent Dar Zitoun in Taroudant and its excellent cuisine. Good times with Marc, the master of the place!
- Our most intense day, during which we had initially only planned to visit the Agadir of Imchguiguiln in the Anti-Atlas, an impressive fortified granary probably dating from the 14th century. Carried away by our momentum, we pushed to the rocky peakfrom Tizourgane to Tilouit. Superb tagine of vegetables and eggs. What a treat ! Something to encourage us to hit the road of Tafraout. Unforgettable landscape! Return by Tiznit, exhausted but happy with our discoveries.
- Finally, the meal on the terrace facing the ocean at Ksar Massa: top quality salads, divine cinnamon chicken.
All in all, a stay that was successful in all respects under the aegis of friendship and that we will not forget!"

"Back in France after our stay in Morocco, we wanted to send you our thanks. Indeed, our stay went very well, we made the most of the ryad which offered great services.
A special mention to Naïma for her discretion, her sympathy and above all her cooking skills. We were treated to typical dishes that were both very different and very good!
Finally, we greatly appreciated Adil's rental service: impeccable cars and the great kindness of the rental company.
Too bad the pool lighting was out of order, night baths would have been even more pleasant."

"In the name of Antonin, Arthur, Meven, Reno, Sylvain and myself, I thank you for this heavenly week that we spent with work colleagues (and friends above all!) We were completely cut off from our daily lives for the space of a week!!
"Le jardin aux étoiles" is at the same time beautiful, original, spacious, convivial and functional. Inside, like outside, everything is designed for the comfort of passing tourists. The staff there were welcoming! Naïma brought the local culture to our stay. The 6 stomachs on legs that we are could not come to the end of Naïma's gargantuan couscous in one go! Moulay regaled us with anecdotes about the country and immersed us in the Ouled Taima market (which is a totally incredible place).
Nature as a neighbour, the calm, the panorama... it was just magical! Also eating with garden products (lemon, mint, prickly pear...) is a plus! Astro, the faithful 4-legged guardian, is very nice, very playful (a sticky hair anyway!)
A few downsides though: the lighting in the swimming pool out of order, the lack of privacy in the Tiznit bathroom, the absence of curtains on the windows of the upstairs bedrooms (therefore strong light in the early morning), flies (but that's part of folklore!)
Overall, we are more than satisfied with this week in the garden of stars, and we hope to see you there soon!"

Adil and Lahcen, our rental car specialists who grant 25% discount to guests of our rental riad, were invited to the Jardin aux Etoiles, on May 28 at noon, to try one of Naïma's famous tajines.
The video opposite, shot by Lahcen, shows Adil, and Jean-Luc, creator of the Jardin aux Etoiles, caller, tasting "champagne d'Ouled Alioua", that is to say very fresh water from the well of the riad accompanied by the juice of two or three organic lemons from the garden.

"I very much appreciated the magnificent decoration of the riad, the breakfast by the swimming pool, the kitchen, the help of Moulay Hafid when it was necessary and especially the great visits we made in the surroundings.
The discovery of the natural swimming pool of Wim Tindouine, in the Atlas, will remain in my best memories, with the scent of M'Bark mint tea on the palate. I also had a crush on the authenticity of the 700-year-old Agadir, the secrets of which were told to us by a charming Berber couple, as well as for the walk taken with Astro by the ocean, in the Souss Massa park. Finally, I give great points to the fine cuisine of Ksar Massa and the popular atmosphere of the fish restaurants in the port of Agadir. A big thank you to Jean-Luc for taking us to these interesting places described on this site.
See you soon, inchallah!"

"With these June heats, it was essential to cool off in the pool. But what I appreciated the most was that you could swim in it given its size.
The libraries of the riad are well stocked with various books. They are found in particular at the entrance to the Marrakech suite and the Tiznit suite. I borrowed several that I read while lounging in the shade of banana and date palms.
I had the pleasure of working with the cook, a very helpful person."
Aline Ch. and Fabienne Ve., Val-de-Ruz (Switzerland), April 2012
"A getaway started in Marrakech, continued in the Ourika Valley and culminating in the tizi n'Test led us to recharge our batteries at the Jardin aux Etoiles, which we had heard so much about, and we were not disappointed ;-)
Led by a guide who had already made us quickly discover his city of Taroudant at sunset - it was a little late and it was starting to get really dark! - , we visited with delight a women's argan oil cooperative, the fortified attic of Imchguiguiln and the artisanal souk of Agadir, which we left with our arms a little more loaded than when we entered...
Decided at the last moment, our too short escapade would require returning to these places, taking advantage of more time to explore all this authenticity that fascinates us and to swim in the super-hyper swimming pool!
A word of advice: don't do like us, don't take the Portuguese company TAP! We thought we were getting a good deal buying on the net last minute. But there was a strike at Lisbon airport and we had to spend a night there, which was not planned! The next day was confusion. We ended up flying with a plane to... Rabat, when we had planned to land the day before in Marrakech :-( Instead of waiting all day like dead rats in Rabat, we decided to take the train to Marrakech. Well, now we know what a Moroccan train is! Not really the best, but it was nice all the same! "

Six months before the opening of the Jardin aux Etoiles for rent, this friendly Belgian family took the opportunity to take in the air of the riad during a well-watered aperitif.
The white Gerrouane, very good Moroccan wine, turned out to be very pleasant, even in the January sun!

"Impressed by the magnificent garden being set up, I had the pleasure of tasting the first dates from the Jardin aux Etoiles, which turned out to be succulent! I even brought some back to Switzerland. Wonderful too, the mandarins and their lemony scent! I hope to come back..."
