Tiznit Suite: Triumph of Red

A double bed, a triple door wardrobe, a Berber chest and a huge terrace

This sequel is a tribute tothe city ofTiznit, which is an hour's drive south of Agadir. The houses there are frequently red, even purple. The large double bed showcases Moroccan craftsmanship: Berber green wicker at the headboard and around the bed bases, woven blanket and curtains from Agadir, carpet with Berber motifs, wax and alabaster lamps (reading lamp available elsewhere).

Very pleasant Nordic-style sleeping system (fitted sheet, duvets and duvet covers, pillows and pillow covers). Additional duvets are available if needed in winter. Two mattresses, of different hardness, each with a summer side and a winter side. In summer, if necessary, request a mosquito net from our steward. On request, we also provide you with mosquito repellent electrical outlets, to be replenished before your departure.

A mamouni wardrobe with three doors, as well as a carved Berber chest unearthed in Tamaloukt provide storage.

Large terrace with view *****

The French window opens onto the very large terrace. This area of 80 square meters is covered with tiles. For the sake of unity, we have chosen the same motifs as those surrounding the swimming pool and which pave the terraces of the rooms agadir and Taroudant, On the second floor.

From the terrace, one enjoys a five-star view ofthe garden Andthe swimming pool.

The decor and the reading corner

The decor obviously pays homage to red and Berber craftsmanship, right down to the curtain rods. Note of additional charm, dareSenegalese djembes giants, quite rare, are used as bedside tables. Mamouni and moucharabieh rub shoulders, some ivory, others brown, for example to hide electrical switches.

According to Majorelle

A corridor decorated with three wall openings overlooks the reading corner installed at the arrival of the staircase of theFive Worlds Lounge. This is where the original canvas painted by Abdu Amenukal takes place especially for your rental riad. This Berber artist, native ofBiougra, made a copy, which represents a considerable enlargement of the "Kasbah of Anemiter", masterpiece of the French orientalist painter Jacques Majorelle.

This gave its name to thefamous garden of Marrakech after having magnified southern Morocco, and in particular its kasbahs, all the way to the Souss valley. This table measures 240 cm in width and 200 in height. It is flanked by a bookcase, two chairs and an iron table carved with... Berber motifs.
