In Agadir, Tifnit, Aglou, Taghazout:
great sandy beaches

Agadir is renowned worldwide for its fine sandy beach. Marrakech has ITS Jama El Fnaa square. Agadir has ITS beach, the most beautiful in Morocco, reachable in fifty minutes. With a length of eight kilometers, it is protected from the winds that sweep the coast. Its very gentle slope allows the little ones to splash about for tens of meters.

Agadir beach is obviously the busiest. Sometimes too much... Consequence: many other beaches are experiencing significant activity. South of Agadir, tifnit (not to be confused withTiznit), but alsoAglo and the exceptionalArches of Legzira present both enchanting and wilder shores.

The beaches are even more numerous to the north of the city. They follow one another without interruption over several tens of kilometres, from Anza, where the water barely coversdinosaur footprints of great interest, up toTamri sand dunes, called Taboga, over the ocean, and finally to Imsouane. The new luxury resort ofTaghazout and the small typical village of the same name are the center of intense activities centered on surfing.Devil's Rock (Devil's Rock) and thePointe des Anchors (Anchor Point)  are famous all over the world.

The thermal shock of ocean and land

The Atlantic is a cool ocean, even at these latitudes, due to the natural phenomenon calledupwellings. The temperature of the water hardly exceeds 22 to 23 degrees, even though, on land, that of the air can climb up to 40 degrees. This thermal shock explains the haze phenomenon that is encountered in a localized way.by the sea, especially in summer.

The fact remains that with its320 days of sunshine per year (more in the Jardin aux Etoiles!), Agadir is a safe destination when it comes to good weather.

The interior of the grounds escapes most of the time from this fog. The Jardin aux Etoiles and its swimming pool are exempt. A parasol to plant in the sand is available to our guests who nevertheless wish to go to the seaside.
